The ventilation duct is made of galvanised sheet steel. The diameter refers to the internal diameter of the duct. Connecting the Intelmann spiral ducts in the ventilation system: Nipples or pipe connectors are used to connect the spiral ducts in a ventilation system. Fittings such as bends, branch pieces or T-pieces can be connected directly to the spiral duct. Sockets are used to connect fittings (bends / branch pieces / T-pieces) to each other. The insulating conduit consists of a glass fibre reinforced aluminium laminate outer jacket with a 25 mm insulating layer of insulating wool. The insulating hose is equipped with a barrier layer. The barrier layer simplifies installation and prevents direct contact with the insulating wool. Thermal insulation is used to prevent condensation and reduce heat and cold loss. The diameter specification refers to the inner diameter of the insulating hose. A 100 mm spiral duct / aluminium flex duct can be insulated with a DIS100. In practice, however, it is much easier to insulate the pipe if you select the insulating hose one size larger. ASSEMBLY The insulating hose is simply pulled over an existing pipe (e.g. spiral duct). This provides the pipe with diffusion-tight protection against moisture and thermal influences. The connecting sleeve is used to connect a fan to a round air duct (spiral duct) with the same diameter. At the same time, it absorbs vibrations from the fan to the ventilation duct. The advantage of this type of connection is that the fan can be removed from the air duct system at any time for replacement or repair. The sleeve is made of galvanised sheet steel, fitted with a foam rubber seal with a thickness of 6 millimetres on the inside. There are two M6 screws at the ends of the adjusting ring for fixing the sleeve: screws and nuts are part of the product.

The non-return damper is designed for operation at ambient temperatures up to 60°C, for the transport of clean air, free of coarse dust, grease, chemical vapours and other impurities.
