If the intake tower is used for the intake of outside air, a filter basket including a coarse dust filter should also be installed in order to catch heavy impurities from your ventilation system.The filter basket is inserted into the smooth tube of the intake tower just below the louvre bonnet and is held in place by a stop bead.
