SPIRAL DUCTS AND FITTINGS (GALVANISED)
Spiral ducts are also known as spiral ducts. We manufacture the ducts and fittings from galvanised sheet steel or stainless steel (V2A).All fittings are fitted with a rubber lip seal. Both the ducts and the fittings fulfil tightness class D (highest class for air ducts). The spiral ducts are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 1506 and DIN EN 12237.
A "spiral duct nipple" is requiredto connect two spiral ducts. Moulded parts (bends, T-pieces, Y-pieces, etc.) are inserted directly into the spiral duct. No extra connector is required for this. Two moulded parts are connected to each other with a "spiral duct sleeve".
Spiral duct for the installation of ventilation systemsSpiral duct ØD = inner diameter [mm]Length 1000 mmMaterial: Galvanised sheet steelDesign in accordance with DIN EN 12237Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard)Intelmann spiral duct Application areas: The Intelmann spiral duct or spiral seam duct is used for air routing of extract air, outside air, exhaust air and supply air in centralised domestic ventilation or controlled domestic ventilation with heat recovery. The ventilation duct is made of galvanised sheet steel. The diameter refers to the internal diameter of the duct. Connecting the Intelmann spiral ducts in the ventilation system: Nipples or pipe connectors are used to connect the spiral ducts in a ventilation system. Fittings such as bends, branch pieces or T-pieces can be connected directly to the spiral duct. Sockets are used to connect fittings (bends / branch pieces / T-pieces) to each other. A spiral duct is compatible with all other fittings with the same diameter. Two spiral ducts are connected with a nipple.
Elbow for spiral duct Insertion length l = 40mm Galvanised steel 275 g /m² with EPDM double lip seal Tightness class D according to DIN EN 12237, highest tightness class for air ducts The bend is inserted directly into the spiral duct From a diameter of 224 mm, the bend is manufactured as a segmented bend

T-piece for spiral duct 90° outlet with EPDM lip seal Insertion depth = 40 mm Version according to DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard) Material: galvanised steel
Nipple for connecting spiral ducts Insertion depth = 40 mm Design in accordance with DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard) Material galvanised steel
Socket for connecting moulded parts (bends, T-pieces, branch pieces, reducers, etc.) Insertion depth = 40 mm Design in accordance with DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard) Material galvanised steel The sleeve is used to connect moulded parts. It is NOT suitable for connecting a spiral duct to another duct. The sleeve can be used to connect a spiral duct bend and a T-piece.

Sliding nipple for length compensation on ventilation ducts One-sided without stop bead Length short version: 130 mm Length of long version: 300 mm Version according to DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard) Material galvanised steel
Reduction for connecting spiral ducts to ducts with smaller diameters Insertion depth = 40 mm Design in accordance with DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard)
Slide-in backflow flap / internal non-return flap Nominal width 100 mm to 200 mm Opens smoothly, low pressure loss Closes securely, without noise, without rattling The damper is inserted into the ventilation duct For vertical and horizontal installation Housing: Galvanised steel Damper blade: Aluminium Shaft and spring: Stainless steel The non-return damper is used in round ventilation ducts to prevent air backflow. The casing is made of galvanised sheet steel. The damper blades are made of aluminium and the shaft and spring are made of stainless steel. The internal rubber seal reduces noise. The outer foam strip provides a good seal and secures the non-return flap in the pipe. The non-return damper is designed for operation at ambient temperatures up to 60°C, for the transport of clean air, free of coarse dust, grease, chemical vapours and other impurities.
