Porous, absorbent surfaces must be pre-treated with Dowsil Primer P. Adhesion should always be tested before application. Smooth joints with NKF READY smoothing agent Can be painted over Nordsil® MS Coloured can be painted over with water-based and most 2-component paints. Drying may be delayed with synthetic paints. It is advisable to test compatibility with the relevant colours before application. If Nordsil® MS Coloured is to be painted over (generally not necessary), we recommend lightly sanding the sealant and the adjacent edges with Scotch-Brite before application.
