SPIRAL SEAM PIPES AND FITTINGS (STAINLESS STEEL V2A)
Spiral seam pipes are also called spiral lock pipes. We manufacture the pipes and fittings from galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel (V2A). All fittings are equipped with a rubber lip seal. Both the pipes and the fittings meet the airtightness class D (highest class for air ducts). The production of the spiral seam pipes is carried out according to DIN EN 1506 and DIN EN 12237.
To connect two spiral seam pipes, a "spiral seam pipe nipple" is required. This is inserted into the pipes. Fittings (bends, T-pieces, Y-pieces, etc.) are inserted directly into the spiral seam pipe. No additional connector is necessary for this. Two fittings are connected to each other with a "spiral seam pipe coupling".

The ventilation duct is made of V2A stainless steel. The diameter refers to the inner diameter of the pipe. Connecting the Intelmann spiral ducts in the ventilation system: Nipples or pipe connectors are used to connect the spiral ducts in a ventilation system. Fittings such as bends, branch pieces or T-pieces can be connected directly to the spiral duct. Sockets are used to connect fittings (bends / branch pieces / T-pieces) to each other. A spiral duct is compatible with all other fittings with the same diameter. Two spiral ducts are connected with a nipple.

It is NOT suitable for connecting a spiral seam pipe to another pipe. For example, the sleeve can be used to connect a spiral seam pipe elbow and a tee.
