SPIRAL DUCTS AND VENTILATION PIPES
Stainless steel spiral duct for the installation of ventilation systemsSpiral duct ØD = inner diameterLength 1000 mmMaterial: Stainless steel V2ADesign according to DIN EN 12237Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard)Intelmann stainless steel spiral duct Application areas: The Intelmann stainless steel spiral duct or spiral seam duct is used for air routing of extract air, outside air, exhaust air and supply air in centralised domestic ventilation or controlled domestic ventilation with heat recovery. The ventilation duct is made of V2A stainless steel. The diameter refers to the inner diameter of the pipe. Connecting the Intelmann spiral ducts in the ventilation system: Nipples or pipe connectors are used to connect the spiral ducts in a ventilation system. Fittings such as bends, branch pieces or T-pieces can be connected directly to the spiral duct. Sockets are used to connect fittings (bends / branch pieces / T-pieces) to each other. A spiral duct is compatible with all other fittings with the same diameter. Two spiral ducts are connected with a nipple.
Stainless steel nipple for connecting spiral ducts Insertion depth = 40 mm Design in accordance with DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard) Material: Stainless steel
Stainless steel sleeve for connecting moulded parts (bends, T-pieces, branch pieces, reducers, etc.) Insertion depth = 40 mm Design in accordance with DIN EN 12237 Tightness class D according to DIN EN 1507 (highest class of the standard) Material stainless steel V2A The stainless steel sleeve is used to connect moulded parts. It is NOT suitable for connecting a spiral duct to another duct. The sleeve can be used to connect a spiral duct bend and a T-piece.
Stainless steel segment bend for spiral duct Insertion length l = 40mm Stainless steel V2A with EPDM double lip seal Tightness class D according to DIN EN 12237, highest tightness class for air ducts the bend is inserted directly into the spiral duct
Insulated spiral duct made of galvanised sheet steelDouble-walled, insulated spiral ducting provides effective protection against condensation.Designed in accordance with DIN EN 12237 and DIN EN 1506Condensation is the main cause of moisture damage in buildings and occurs wherever warm air meets cold surfaces. This can be the case, for example, with a fresh air supply in winter or exhaust air from a heat exchanger. Material: galvanised sheet steelLength: 1 metreInsulation thicknesses: 15 mm| 25 mm | 50 mmMake: Intelmann Possible applications:Outdoor and exhaust air ductTo prevent condensation on the outside of the pipework, the duct must be encased in insulation. An insulation thickness of approx. 15 mm may be sufficient here.Supply and return air ducting through cold roomsHere, the ducts must be protected against heat loss and condensation must be prevented from forming on the inside of the exhaust air duct. The insulation thickness depends on the ambient temperature. If the temperature is outside ( uninsulated attic), an insulation thickness of 50 mm should be selected. In unheated rooms ( unheated cellar), the insulation thickness of 25 mm can be used.
