FLAT DUCT AND FITTINGS GALVANISED
The Intelmann flat duct and fittings range has a particularly low-profile design. The height of the duct is 50 mm and is therefore ideally suited for installation in filigree ceilings or screed concrete. In order for the duct to withstand the load, the flat duct must be used with the pre-assembled internal reinforcement. Alternatively, the internal reinforcement can also be purchased separately and inserted into the duct by the customer.
To connect two flat ducts, a “flat duct connector (male)” is required. This is pushed into the ducts.
Fittings (bends, T-pieces, Y-pieces, etc.) are pushed directly into the duct. No connector is required for this.
Two fittings are connected to each other with a “fitting connector (socket)”.
Flat trunking made of galvanised sheet steel Width: 100 to 300 mm, height: 50 mm The width and height specifications refer to the internal dimensions of the trunking The total length of the trunking is L = 1000 mm The Intelmann flat trunking system is designed according to the socket-nipple principle Flat ducts are connected to each other with flat duct nipple connectors Moulded parts (bends, T-pieces, transition pieces) are connected to each other with a sleeve This allows all moulded parts to be inserted into the trunking. No further connection is required for this. The flat duct is suitable for a wide range of applications. These range from supply and exhaust air ducts for controlled (domestic) ventilation to use as an exhaust air duct for an extractor bonnet in the kitchen and as a supply air duct for fireplaces or stoves. The duct is suitable for installation under the screed. We recommend our version with internal reinforcement for this purpose. To seal the joints, we recommend our aluminium adhesive tape or aluminium-laminated cold-shrink tape. Both options offer sufficient protection against pressure loss in your pipework system.
