As heat pumps do not consume any fuel, they also do not cause any on-site CO2 emissions and thus make a contribution to global environmental protection. Thanks to their high efficiency, heat pumps save considerable amounts of greenhouse gases. As they operate without combustion processes, they do not produce any climate-damaging gases or soot particles and help to conserve limited resources.
The heat pump is the only heating system that, as a result of the energy transition in the electricity sector, is becoming increasingly environmentally friendly.
